Since I was a teenager sneaking out of math class so I could paint, I have felt a passion both for a variety of subject matter and the art mediums to capture them.
Although I love all mediums, oil paint is what I enjoy most. On this website, I have included some of the different types of work I've done, but going forward I'll be focusing on gallery painting with oils.

I was born in Salt Lake City, UT, but spent my teenage years in a little southwestern Utah town named Kanab.
Salt Lake was a perfect place for a little boy to grow up, and Kanab was a perfect place for a teenager to expand his horizons: playing football, acting in melodramas, waterskiing at Lake Powell, etc.
Now, New Mexico is the perfect place from which to draw inspiration for my art as well as spend cherished time with my wife, Shauna, and our beloved children and grandchildren.
I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Fine Art with an emphasis on Illustration at Utah State University in Logan, Utah.
My work has included fashion illustrations, book covers, children's books and even murals.
One of my pieces was selected to be in the New York Society of Illustrator's Show and some are in private collections in the western states.
Feel free to contact me during normal business hours for sizes, pricing options, or requests.
